Monitored alarm systems are designed take the signals generated by the burglar alarm panel and transfer them to a remote alarm-receiving centre for processing. These signals are normally transferred to an alarm-receiving centre by one of a number of methods of notification.

Due to the demands of the European Installation Standards and the requirements under DD243 Standard for a Police response, only alarm control equipment that meets these grading requirements can be used on a remote signaling alarm installation.

With today’s alarm technology the ARC can monitor all aspects of a typical alarm installation which includes the following reporting / monitoring:

Intruder / Confirmed Intruder
Opening & Closing Reports
Abort Signals – Technical Faults
Line Fault / Battery / AC Loss

“Digi-Com” Monitoring

The industry standard for many years takes the signals generated from the alarm control panel and transfers them to the ARC for processing.

“Dual-Com” Monitoring

As the most cost effective and one of the Insurance Industry’s preferred method of signaling the “Dual-Com” allows two alternative methods of signaling from one unit. Ideal for Grade 2/3/4 Systems.
